Working with brands as a content creator
How to present yourself, define your offer and follow the rules on disclosing ads.
Brands are not just looking at follower counts; they want an engaged audience and a style that fits their identity. A clear niche matters more than the size of your account.
Prepare your media kit
- A short summary of your content and your audience.
- Up-to-date figures: followers, average views and engagement rate.
- Examples of past collaborations, with results where possible.
- A clear list of services and approximate prices.
Disclosing ads
Your audience should always know when content is a paid ad. Add a clear label such as ‘Ad’ to the post, and follow the regulations that apply in the Kingdom to social-media advertising, including holding any licence that is required.
Agree with the brand in advance on how many rounds of revisions each clip includes, so the collaboration does not turn into endless edits.
Choose brands whose products you genuinely believe in. Your audience's trust is your real capital.
