What you should know

Every booking on ModelGo comes with an e-contract generated automatically from the agreed details, and both sides sign it on the platform before the job starts. That way everyone knows their rights and obligations from day one.

What the contract covers

  • The agreed fee, how it's paid and when it's released to the talent.
  • Usage rights: where the photos and footage will appear, in which countries and for how long.
  • Scope of work: the number of looks or hours on set, and exactly what's expected.
  • Dates, locations, and the terms for cancelling or rescheduling.

Why it matters

  • For talent: you know exactly what you're agreeing to, and the contract backs you up if your material is used beyond what was agreed.
  • For professionals: clear proof of the rights you've secured, without drafting a new contract for every booking.
  • For both: any change to the details needs the other side's approval, and a full record of every change is kept.

When a booking is confirmed, the client pays the fee through the platform and we hold it safely until the job is done. Once the job is finished and confirmed, the fee is released to the talent.

How a booking works

  1. The client sends a booking offer with the details and fee.
  2. The talent reviews the offer, then accepts it or asks for changes.
  3. The client pays through the platform and both sides sign the e-contract.
  4. The job takes place on the agreed date.
  5. The fee is released to the talent once the job is confirmed as complete.

Why always book through the platform?

  • Talent knows the fee is already secured before heading to the shoot.
  • Clients know the money is only released once the work is delivered.
  • If a dispute comes up, our team reviews it based on the contract and the chat history.
  • ModelGo will never ask you to send money by bank transfer outside the platform.

After every booking, both sides can review each other. Honest reviews help the whole community choose who to work with, with confidence.

What gets rated

  • Professionalism: punctuality, sticking to what was agreed and treating others with respect.
  • Experience: skill level and understanding of the job.
  • Communication: clear instructions and replies before and during the job.
  • Response time: how quickly messages and requests are answered.

Each criterion is rated from one to five stars, and you can add a written comment. Our team checks every review before it's published to make sure it relates to a real booking and contains no abuse or personal details.

Tip: keep your review fair and focused on the job itself; that's what really helps other members.

Messaging on ModelGo lets you talk to the other side without sharing your phone number or personal email. In line with our privacy policy, chats are monitored by automated systems that pick up known scam patterns, such as requests for bank transfers or verification codes.

How safe messaging protects you

  • Instant warnings when a suspicious message appears in a chat.
  • A saved chat history to refer back to if a dispute arises.
  • Block or report any user with a single tap.
  • Share files and schedules on the platform without needing other apps.

We recommend keeping the conversation on the platform, at least until the booking is confirmed. Pressure to move to WhatsApp or Telegram before then is a warning sign.

When you finish a chat with another member, we ask one quick question: how did it go? You can choose ‘Good’, ‘OK’ or ‘Bad’. It takes a second, but it goes a long way in helping us protect the community.

What happens after you choose

  • ‘Good’: it counts towards the member's trust signals.
  • ‘OK’: we use it to improve the experience, with no action taken against the other person.
  • ‘Bad’: our trust and safety team reviews the conversation and may get in touch with you for more details.

Your answer is private and the other person never sees it. If you feel genuinely unsafe, don't wait for this question; use the ‘Report’ button straight away.

To protect talent, professionals such as brands, photographers and agencies can't contact talent until their account has been verified. We ask them for proof of their professional activity and review it before messaging is switched on.

What we accept for verification

  • An active website for the business or showing past work.
  • Social media accounts that show genuine professional activity.
  • A valid commercial registration for companies and agencies.

What this means for you

  • For talent: check for the verified badge on a profile before replying to any offer.
  • For professionals: verification gives your account more credibility and makes talent more likely to accept your offers.
  • For everyone: if business details change, we check again to keep the badge accurate.

For members under 18, we require a parent or guardian's consent, and every casting aimed at them is reviewed manually before it goes live.

You can take part in auditions remotely through video calls on the platform, without travelling or sharing your personal contact details. It saves both sides time and keeps everything on record.

Tips for talent

  • Choose a quiet spot with good lighting and a plain background.
  • Dress appropriately, just as you would for an in-person audition.
  • Never agree to requests for private or inappropriate content; end the call at once and report it if it happens.

Tips for professionals

  • Prepare a clear brief of the role and what you'd like to see in the audition.
  • Schedule the call through the platform and stick to the time.
  • If the talent is under 18, a parent or guardian must be present on the call.
