Terms of Use for Models & Talent
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These terms govern your use of ModelGo as a model, talent or content creator, and form a binding agreement between you and ModelGo Technology Co. (LLC). Please read them carefully, together with our Privacy Policy.
Our principle is simple: talent never pays a casting publisher to apply, to be selected or to take part in a job.
Draft template — to be reviewed by a licensed lawyer in Saudi Arabia before publishing. All details are demo data.
A. Definitions
In these terms, the following words have the meanings set out below:
“Platform”: the ModelGo website, apps and services, operated by ModelGo Technology Co. (LLC) (‘ModelGo’, ‘we’ or ‘us’).
“Talent or ‘you’”: anyone who creates a profile on the Platform as a model, actor, content creator or other talent, including a minor's guardian acting on their behalf.
“Professional”: photographers, brands, agencies, production companies and others who use the Platform to find and hire talent.
“Casting”: a listing a professional publishes on the Platform to select talent for a specific job or project.
“Booking agreement”: the booking details shown on the Platform and accepted by both parties, including the scope, schedule, location, fee and usage rights.
“Premium”: optional paid subscriptions that unlock extra features.
“Marketplace”: the section where paid services such as photo shoots and courses are offered.
“Model Academy”: the educational content available on the Platform.
B. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these terms. Your electronic acceptance — by clicking to agree or by continuing to use the Platform — is a valid and binding expression of consent under the Electronic Transactions Law.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts.
If the talent is under 18, the account must be created and managed by their parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf, is responsible for compliance and accompanies them on every job.
You must not have had an account suspended by us before, and your use of the Platform must not breach any law that applies to you.
You are responsible for making sure that taking on paid work is permitted under the rules that apply to your status, such as labour, residency and freelance regulations.
We may change these terms from time to time and will notify you of significant changes at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means you accept them; if you do not agree, you may close your account.
C. Your account and profile
Give accurate, up-to-date information and keep it current, including your age, city and measurements.
Use real, recent photos of yourself — main photos should be no more than 12 months old — without edits that misleadingly change your features or measurements.
Do not impersonate anyone or use another person's photos or name, create more than one account for the same talent, or create an account for someone else without authorisation.
If an agency manages your profile, it must have your written authorisation, and you remain jointly responsible for the accuracy of its content.
Keep your log-in details confidential — you are responsible for all activity on your account — and tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
We may ask you to verify your identity to get the verified badge or to receive payouts, and we may suspend inaccurate or suspicious profiles until they are verified.
D. Applying to castings
You will never be asked to pay a casting publisher, or any per-application fee, to apply, be selected or take part. Premium subscriptions are optional; they may increase how many castings you can apply to, but are never a condition for being booked.
Only apply to castings whose requirements you meet and whose dates you can commit to.
Read each casting carefully, including the fee, the nature of the work and the usage rights, and ask questions through messages before accepting if needed.
The professional alone decides who is selected; we do not guarantee that any application will succeed.
If any casting publisher asks you for a registration fee, a deposit, or the cost of a photo shoot or course as a condition of being selected, do not pay anything — report it to us straight away using the report button.
E. Bookings and payments
When a professional selects you, they send you a booking offer setting out the scope, dates, location, fee and usage rights. A booking is only made when you accept the offer on the Platform; it then becomes a binding booking agreement between you and the professional.
The professional pays the full booking amount through the Platform when the booking is confirmed, and the money is held by a licensed payment provider until the job is complete.
The fee shown in the booking is what you receive, unless a deduction is clearly shown in the offer before you accept it. You never pay anything to take part in the job.
Your payout is sent to your registered bank account within 7 business days after the job is confirmed as complete, or automatically 72 hours after its scheduled end unless the professional raises a valid objection.
Either party may open a dispute within 72 hours of the job's scheduled end, with supporting evidence. We review disputes impartially and decide what happens to the held amount, without affecting either party's right to go to the competent authorities.
Do not accept payment outside the Platform for work that came through it — doing so removes the protection the Platform gives you.
Cancellations and no-shows
If the professional cancels less than 48 hours before the job, you receive compensation of 50% of the agreed fee, unless the booking agreement provides for more.
You may withdraw from a confirmed booking without consequence at least 48 hours before it starts. Late cancellations or not turning up without a valid reason may lead to a warning, reduced profile visibility or, if repeated, suspension.
We take documented emergencies, such as illness or accidents, into account and will help both sides find a replacement or a new date where possible.
F. Premium subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are optional. They give you extra features such as more applications and messages and early access to new castings, but do not guarantee you any work.
Prices are shown in Saudi riyals and include 15% VAT unless clearly stated otherwise before you pay. We issue an electronic tax invoice in line with ZATCA requirements.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the price shown at that time, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. We will remind you at least 7 days before an annual subscription renews.
You can cancel renewal at any time in your account settings; your subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds
In line with the E-Commerce Law and applicable consumer protection rules, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription if you have not used the paid features. We will also refund all or the relevant part of what you paid if we cannot provide the service because of a fault on our side. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of approval.
G. Model Academy and Marketplace
Model Academy
The Academy is mainly free educational content to help you build your skills; some advanced material may be included in certain plans or offered as clearly labelled paid courses. Its content is guidance only and does not guarantee work, completion certificates are not officially accredited qualifications, and you may not copy, republish or sell the content.
Marketplace
The Marketplace offers paid services such as portfolio shoots and courses, provided either by independent professionals or by ModelGo directly; the provider of each service is clearly named.
Buying a Marketplace service is entirely optional and is never a condition for applying to castings or being booked.
Prices are in Saudi riyals including VAT, payment is made only through the Platform, and the cancellation and refund policy on each service page applies without limiting your statutory rights as a consumer.
The provider is responsible for the quality and delivery of the service. For services we do not provide ourselves, our role is limited to acting as an intermediary and facilitating payment, and we will help you resolve any dispute.
H. Content standards and conduct
Everything you post or send on the Platform — photos, videos, text and messages — must be lawful, decent and consistent with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and public morals. In particular, you must not:
post nude, indecent or sexually suggestive content, or photos that do not meet the modesty standards in the Platform's community guidelines;
insult religion, national symbols or public order, or post anything that promotes hatred, discrimination or violence;
harass, intimidate, threaten or defame any member, or send unwanted messages;
share personal contact details such as your phone number, email or private accounts on your public profile or in messages before a booking is confirmed, or try to move dealings off the Platform to avoid booking through it;
post misleading or impersonating content, or content that infringes intellectual property or other people's privacy, such as photos of people without their permission;
promote prohibited products or services, use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, interfere with its systems, scrape members' data or create fake accounts.
Some of these acts — such as defamation, invasion of privacy and blackmail — may be offences under the Anti-Cyber Crime Law. We may remove infringing content and take whatever action we consider appropriate, including reporting it to the competent authorities.
Reviews: reviews you leave for professionals must be honest and based on real experience. Fake reviews, or reviews given in exchange for any benefit, are not allowed.
I. Intellectual property and image rights
You keep all your rights in the content you upload and in your image and likeness. You confirm that you own the photos you upload or have permission to use them, including the photographer's permission where needed.
You give ModelGo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, format and resize your profile content on the Platform, and to feature your profile in search results and on the Platform's promotional pages. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the backup period described in our Privacy Policy.
We will not use your photos in paid advertising outside the Platform without your separate consent.
Usage rights for material produced in a job — such as permitted media, territory and duration — are set out in the booking agreement. Any use beyond that requires a new agreement and, where appropriate, an additional fee.
No professional may use your image or voice to create a digital twin of you or AI-generated content without your separate, explicit written consent setting out the scope, duration and fee.
All rights in the Platform, its brand, design, software and Academy content belong to ModelGo or its licensors and may not be used without our written permission.
J. Safety and reporting
Your safety is our priority, so we recommend that you:
keep messages and payments on the Platform, and check the professional's verified badge and reviews before accepting any job;
make sure the job takes place at a recognised professional location — you are entitled to bring a companion to any shoot, and a minor must be accompanied by their guardian at every job;
never share your documents, bank details or passwords with another member — we will never ask for them in a message;
leave any job immediately if you feel unsafe or are asked to do something that goes against the agreement or public decency, and let us know — leaving in this situation is not a breach of your obligations.
You can report any profile, casting or message using the report button or at support@modelgo.sa; we review urgent reports within 24 hours. In an emergency or if you are in danger, contact the security authorities directly.
K. Limitation of liability
ModelGo is an intermediary platform that lets talent and professionals connect, contract and pay. We are not a party to the booking agreement or an employer of either side, and we do not guarantee castings, bookings or any level of income.
We take reasonable care to check members and castings, but we cannot guarantee that everything members post is accurate; please check before you commit.
We aim to keep the Platform available, but it may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you will not exceed the amounts you paid ModelGo in the 12 months before the claim, or SAR 500, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence or anything that cannot be limited or excluded by law, or our obligation to pay out your earnings for completed jobs.
L. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time in settings. This does not affect confirmed bookings already in place or your earnings for completed jobs.
We may restrict, suspend or close your account, fully or partly, if you breach these terms, give false information, put members or the Platform at risk, or a competent authority asks us to.
We will tell you about the action and the reason unless doing so would harm an investigation or someone's safety. You may appeal within 14 days by writing to support@modelgo.sa.
If an account is closed because of a breach, subscription fees for the remaining period are not refunded unless the law requires otherwise.
M. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the E-Commerce Law, the Electronic Transactions Law and the Personal Data Protection Law.
We aim to settle disagreements amicably. Please contact support@modelgo.sa first, and we will work to reach a solution within 30 days.
If it cannot be settled amicably, the competent courts in Riyadh will have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to complain to the Ministry of Commerce or any other competent authority.
The Platform's electronic records may be relied on as evidence under the Electronic Transactions Law. If there is any conflict between the Arabic text of these terms and a translation, the Arabic text prevails.
